Job Description (DBA):::
- Responsibilities include designing, maintenance, implementation administration of database servers to provide high-availability (HA), automatic fail-over, data-consolidation, distributed-availability load distribution.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of MySQL database servers on Linux platform.
- Management of database servers and devising backup strategies.
- Responsible to perform query optimization, database design and provide support in writing complex queries, stored procedures/functions, views, DDL/DML scripts review/feedback to other teams.
- Responsible to perform all kind of other database administration activities.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix like operating systems.
- Must have working knowledge of Linux/Unix Shell scripting.
- Responsible to maintain a good, healthy friendly team environment by using his soft skills.
