Dear All:
We all know that there are several PhD holder faculty members in Pakistani Universities who could very easily get jobs in many Middle eastern universities based upon their high valued CVs, where they can very easily draw "tax free" salaries 3-4 times more than whatever they are drawing in Pakistan. We must appreciate their choice of working in Pakistan. They have contributed in elevating research and academic standard in Pakistan due to that some Pakistani universities are getting listed in Asian universities ranking list. We should acknowledge these faculty members' contribution and give them favor at least in the form of tax incentives, otherwise we may lose them. There are examples in some countries where to promote industrial growth, investors are given tax breaks, so why we cannot encourage our faculty members with the tax incentive.
