National University of computer and Emerging Sciences, invites applications from interested candidates for the following faculty positions in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Islamabad Campus:
The applicants must have aearned Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in VLSI design (Analog, MixSignal, RF) or related field. The B.S. degree must be in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering. Familiarity with the EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, ADS) and practical chip tap- out experience is highly desired. A teaching and industrial experience will be an added advantage. The applicants must demonstrate strong commitment to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, possess excellent communication skills, and have commitment for developing student technical abilities along with the research initiatives. He is expected to teach the courses in the areas of analog and RF electronics, transmission lines, VLSI technology and design.

The B.S. degree must be in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering. A teaching and industrial experience will be an added advantage. The applicants must demonstrate strong commitment to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, possess excellent communication skills, and have commitment for developing student technical abilities along with the research initiatives. He is expected to teach the courses in the areas of electric circuits and systems, device technology, signals and systems technology and design.

Qualifications: The applicants must have earned Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in area related to Electromagnetic or RF Circuits. The B.S. degree must be in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering. Familiarity with the EDA tools and practical design and measurement experience is highly desired. A teaching and industrial experience will be an added advantage. The applicants must demonstrate strong commitment to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, possess excellent communication skills, and have commitment for developing student technical abilities along with the research initiatives. He is expected to teach the courses in the areas of Electromagnetic, RF circuits, transmission lines, microwave circuit technology and design.
Respnsibilities of Faculty: (1) participate and contribute in the EE department teaching/research development initiatives ; (2) serve in different department and campus level committees; (3) student mentoring and supervision; (4) laboratory development/improvement; (5) professional development; and (6 ) other duties assigned by EE department; (7) carry out the research and write the research funding proposals
Sallary: The Salary is market competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and research publications.
About the Department: The EE department has one of the best working environments among the Universities of Islamabad and is always rated very high by the faculty memebers within the Islamabad Campus. The department is home to nexGIN RC [www.nexginrc.org]. 5 approved research projects worth $1 million from ICTRDF are currently in progress in the EE department.
