Call for postdoctoral position in wireless communications

The international research project 'Modeling, optimization and control with applications to networked systems using wireless communications' is opening a post-doctoral position in the area of wireless communications in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria in Valparaiso, Chile.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- wireless channel modeling,
- adaptive modulation and coding,
- MIMO systems,
- compact antenna design,
- relay channels
- cognitive radio.
Duties involve research as part of a project that is a collaborative effort with top-level international centers such as Bell-Laboratories, Holmdel, USA, National University of Singapore, The University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia, Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria and Aalborg University, Denmark.
Yearly pay is around USD 30,000, with the possibility of obtaining additional support based on productivity. This is adequate for a comfortable living in Chile. This post-doctoral position is anticipated to be an appointment with an 18-month time-duration.
