Man Its all depend on you. how much you are efficient. I was graduated in June 2011 and I got a job on August 2011. See where most of them were waited for 7 to 10 months as well. Jis ka Jitna Rizq likha hey na us ke kam aur na us se Zyada mile. Ab ye insan par munhasir hey ke woh kese hasil karta hey. So its all depend on your effort. The more you work hard the more chances of job you will get.

Dear Friend,
Right now the condition of Telecom is crtical but to be honest, if this
situation will lasting long or not change. I am sure INSHALLAH telecom and
other sector (telecom is only the sector who not only suffering) will boost
up again.
Right now, concentrate on your studies. INSHALLAH Tawakkal Allah. You can
check after finish 6 semester.

Dear Hammad
I would not say that there is no future of Telecom Engineering in Pakistan.You may have heard about the launching of 3G etc technologies which will create hundreds of jobs in near future.But the only thing matter is "Reference" to enter in the industry as said by other members.There is no other thing that will help you to get a job.I'm also a Telecom Engineer from UET Taxila having CGPA 3.90 but I'm jobless from last three or forth months even didn't get any phone call for internship etc.Managers of different org. don't pay even a little attention to my CV, have applied every where but I'm still jobless because i don't have any Links or References whatever you call it.
As for as you are concern you have completed almost half of your Engineering so don't give up at this stage because you have spent 2 years of your precious life for it.

I totally agree with Mr. Naveed kharadi he is absolutly right for fresh without reference there is no scope. I am also a fresh Graduate having Telecommunication Engineering Degree from Comsats Islamabad but from last 8 months i am unemployed due to no reference while my university fellows who have good references got job in first 2 months after the degree completion. You can really see the difference. So basically it is totally unfair and injustice to everyone but one can do nothing.

€ ¢Â   yes umair bhai u r right ....i also search for companies since i enter in final year of engineering. it is really very difficult and not good thing that new students cannot meet HR department for any training. the suggestion i can give u is that don't run after big companies ....if u r in telecom than go to little sub-con companies and they will help you

Yes a friend of mine is working in nayatel. Though it pays less but it gives you a good exposure and the environment is quite friendly. NGN is the future in pakistan. also you will be given a particyular channel for growth and the company will arrange trainings on their own expense

I am X-Nayatel employee, and I will strongly disagree with you. My colleagues are at very good place on the bases of their€ ¢Â experience€ ¢Âwith Nayatel. As an€ ¢Â employer€ ¢Â Nayatel is average, it has some issues like any other small private company could have!

I would request to explain your point clearly while giving offensive
comments. If you can share your experience how "Nayatel is bad employer" ,
so others should not be misguided by incomplete information and
misconception.
@Bilal Javed: Nayatel gives you a good platform to enhance your skills
through a defined process and merit. TX, NGN, IP/MPLS, IT/Servers, Access
Network, people skills. Its upto an individual, how much and what you get
from it . They provide frequent inhouse trainings, certification
reimbursement, medical. Any enviornment can never be ideal for all
employees, every organization has positive as well negative points. If
postivie points override minor negatives, one should have the flexibility
and positive attitude towards work and his career.
Your decision solely depends on the choices in hand.

Nayatel is a very good employer and provides lot of oppertunities to enhance your skills. It depends on individual that how he takes that oppertunity.
And Nayatel's experienced people got good jobs in market and very good repute. NGN team at nayatel is best at their work. I know them personally as I am ex employee of Nayatel. If you have the oppertunity to get work in Nayatel's Operations department dont miss that chance IMHO. Thanks
