An R&D Project at NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (SEECS) is looking for the services of professionals for one of its joint research project in collaboration with industry partners in the area of health IT. Health needs a systematic approach to ensure services that improves the quality of life through ICT. The aim of uHealth Card project is to carry out research  for developing a universal health card on USB that gives global interoperability and freedom of move for medical records in a secure way. HL7 is one of the most popular standard specifications being applied globally for achieving interoperability and this is the aim of using HL7 in uHealth Card.  This R&D will be based on globally renowned healthcare standard such as CDA (Clinical Document Architecture). The outcome of this project will be an application framework for a USB disk which will be used to develop personal health records in a secure way.

 

 

Software Engineer (1 Position)

Salary Package: Up to Rs. 50,000/- (based on experience and skills)

Experience:

·         At least 1 year hands on experience in Java platform.

Skills:

·         Professional Experience in Java environment.

·         Knowledge of Software Design Patterns.

·         Have experience in desktop as well as web application development using Java platform.

·         Strong Knowledge of Web Services Development using Java Platform.

·         Knowledge of XML/XML Schemas and XML parsing.

·         Knowledge of Healthcare Standards like HL7, CDA etc. is a plus but not mandatory.

·         Knowledge of Data Security is a plus

Qualification:

·         MS /BS Software Engineering/Computer Science and related field.

 

Others:

·         Promotions and increments based on performance

·         Fulltime commitment is required
