Query || CE Utilization per ULGROUP/Band?
Posted by: "Muhammad Farhan MUNIR" farhanmunir@yahoo.com farhanmunir
Thu May 10, 2012 1:53 am (PDT)
Hi All,
What we have been doing in our network for calculating CE utilization is to compare VS.LC.ULMEAN.LICENSEGROUP. SHARED with VS.LC.ULCREDITAVAIL ABLE.SHARED on NodeB level. Now we have a new requirement of calculating CE usage per carrier ideally or atleast per UL resource group. Since UL resource groups within a nodeB are seperately defined for U2100 and U850, so calculating CE utilization per UL resource group would still give us a fair bit of understanding that what band is consumed more.
Is there a way that we can calculate CE utilization per carrier or per UL resource group instead of NodeB level. Would appreciate your comments,
Regards,
Farhan

HI Bro,,,
as u have allready pre requisites for CCNP security so it will be better to go for CCNP security first ..
as CISA concerned its information security audit side and there is no pre requisite for it.
so u can do it at any time...

Dear,
There are many ports on EMU.it is on the OMCR engineer which port is defined for which alarm.
And polarity of alarms also changed by OMCR.
So you have to confirmed by OMCR that which alarm is confirmed on which port.
With Best Wishes

Wasalam,
well dear LMT software size is big and cant be mail, better u consult some nearby subcon or huawei office to get that software.
And see the attach files, hope it will help u out in alarm configuration.
But note one thing, no need to confuse about ports configure. Just call OMCR/NOC representative and from omc he will tell u whch alarms are configure and on which port so attach cables accordingly, bcz u need to sink with noc person who configure alarms at BSC end unless its useless to spend time on ur own and chkng alarm on site.
So good luck :)

Saddam

Dear Saqlain,
First of all a sheet has been shared with FOPS and OMCR/BSS Engrs which includes all the information regarding alarms patched on a site. i.e., Port #, Alarms ID etc...Well if someone needs to verify that the alarms are correctly patched an OMCR has an access to WebLMT tool to verify it. You can't just download it from anywhere. Its only available when you are connected to Vendors and/or Operators VPN.
Well if you have access to LMT you can use a command
LST BTSENVALMPORT in MML tab of LMT
to verify the patched alarms against a specific site.
I hope its clear now.
Regards,
Bilalqazi
