I don't know what type of engineers you have worked with and what type of company worked for but I totally disagree with your point of view. Might be the organization where u have worked has such environment that where engineers are behaving like police hawaldar or patwari. But I think you have worked with low profile people or low profile company or there is some problem with your capabilities.
My experience in telecom sector is totally different , I started from zero , I have learnt from seniors and also given whatever I could give to my Juniors.
There are corrupt people in every department and every area in Pakistan , so telecom is not the exception, Telecom engineers doesn't live on an other Ireland .
Simple reason for limited Job opportunitiesis economic and security situation in Pakistan. There are no new projects like 3G, 4G so there are limited opportunities. About 8,9 years back telecom sector was the best sector and there was no unemployment just becoz of growing telecom networks.
My advise is that just enhance your skills and focus more on your job rather then blaming others.
