The Security Group of the University of Trento is seeking two post-doctoral researchers in
- Security Engineering
- Security Economics
The first position is in the area of Security Engineering and the research fellow will participate to the organization of the E-RISE challenge, the empirical study on security methodologies of the NESSOS project (http://erise-challenge.disi.unitn.it/). We seek expertise in
- Security Requirements Engineering
- Model-driven Security
- Empirical/Human Evaluation of Security Methods
The second position is in the area of Security Economics for a new project (SECONOMICS) targeting the interplay of IT and Human Security with case studies from energy grid and metropolitan transport industries. We seek expertise in
- Security Economics
- Modeling Security of Information System
- Human Aspects in Security
- Epidemics analysis
Applications from candidates with expertise in these areas are especially welcomed, but excellent candidates from other fields will also be considered.
Candidates have to possess:
- A PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field, with a major in Security (requirements engineering, empirical studies or economics as a possible minor).
- Very good written and oral English skills.
- A good research track record.
Conditions:
- Three Years with 1 year probation period.
- Actual post-doctoral salaries in the department ranged from 1.500/month-3.500/month Net (depending on age and experience).
- Applicants who have conducted research outside Italy for at least 3 years might benefit of an additional tax break.
