The Military College of Signals (MCS), a constituent institution of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), is among the preeminent educational institutions of Pakistan. The Department of Information Security at MCS, with its inherent strength of profound traditions and cherished history, is the 1st ever institute in Pakistan offering MS and PhD degrees in Information Security with emphasis on Cryptology, Computer/Network Security, Information Security Management and Digital Forensics.
In addition to collaborating with a number of other professional bodies and academic institutions, the Department of Information Security at MCS also enjoys the privilege of being the Accredited Training Partner (ATP) of the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council). EC-Council is a member-based organization that certifies individuals in various information security and e-business skills. EC-Council has been certified by American National Standards Institute to meet its ANSI 17024 standard. It is the owner and creator of the world famous Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI) and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)/License Penetration Tester (LPT) programs, and many others programs, that are offered in over 87 countries through a training network of more than 450 training partners globally.

'Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU)'
The purpose of the CSCU training program is to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect their information assets. This training will immerse the participants into an interactive environment where they will acquire fundamental understanding of various computer and network security threats such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, virus and backdoors, emails hoaxes, loss of confidential information, hacking attacks and social engineering. More importantly, the skills learnt from this training will help the participants take all necessary steps to mitigate their security exposure.
This course is specifically designed for executives, IT professionals, area experts, academicians, students and any other person who uses computing devices and the internet extensively to work, study and play.
The CSCU training program will span over 2 full days and include 14 hours of training + 2 hours of CSCU exam. We are offering 8 sessions of the CSCU training, starting with the first one on
