Has someone physically visited RBS?
You had given reset from bsc or hardware reset?

Is there any sequence of trx's showing OML?like of trx 0,1 OML or its random?
 find out internal alarm on CF and decode that may lead to solution..

Waalikum Aslaam,

As for as my understanding....Some of the TRX are not getting LAPD or OML resources form OMC. Check form OMC to resolve the issue. Resetting a device is not a permanent solution. Also check KPI status of that specific TRX or sector. In this way you can better evaluate the nature of fault that either it is service effecting or not.

Probably this issue seems from OMC end.

If there is no RBS down and alarm is continously appearing then it could be either be a problem with alarm cable issue or  OSS issue , it should be suppressed in OSS , if the alarm cable is OK.

Hope all of you doing well. Actually I am new in Telecom field. I have encountered many issues related to Ericsson RBS 2116& 2216. There is continuously OML fault occurring in a single or multiple TRXs. 

Though, I have given reset to RBS and it disappeared yet it appeared after few minutes.

Can anybody tell me how to resolve this issue? 

Why this type of internal alarm occurs?

If u r using M2000 V2R9 with BSC6900 LMT then TRX Locked/Blocked alarm will appear on that particular cell and trx
confirm if alarm is appearing on TRX indx 2 or 3.
if ok then synchronize taht particular BSC in M2000 then check this in performance
if issue still there then move the site Abis portto some other itcould be due to E1issue

I'm having a problem with differences found between M2000 and BAM (BSC6900).

I have the following scenario.

At BSC, i have a cell with 3 TRX (index 1,2,3)
>When i go to M2000 and to view Performance, everything is OK - it shows data for all 3 TRX.
Then I block, let's say, TRX index 2.

When i come back to M2000, and view Performance, it's not OK.
I find data for two TRX: but not TRX index 1 and 3 (as 2 is blocked); instead, i see Performance data for TRX 1 and 2 (blocked!). And for TRX index 3 - that was NOT blocked - i have no data!

Please share if you know what can be wrong.

Can you please share sample trace? The USSD / MAP version mismatch problem seems likely. Which USSD version is the USSD GW on and is that version supported by the HLR?

Furthermore, is the Calling Party GT on SCCP layer of the Abort message that of the HLR? Could it be a simple routing issue on the STP that the message is not even being received on HLR end ?

Please do share the Dialog control field mentioned below from the abort

Please find below feedback related to the mentioned problem:
* Since it is a U_ABORT, so it was being issued by a TCAP user (i.e., MAP in this case) and not by TCAP itself.
* In case of U_ABORT, the reason for Abort (if available) can be seen in the field Dialog Control; (please check if any Abort reason is available in this field).
* One possible reason of such U_Abort may be the incompatibility of MAP protocols at either ends; (so need to check the version compatibility of MAP at USSD-GW, HLR and MSC nodes).
* You can further drill down into the issue so as to specify the problem exactly (as if it is occurring for a specific node, string, end user, on some link/linkset etc.).
Hope this will help you in determining the exact problem and eventually implementing the solution.

Infact, USSD-GW generates a USSD string and sends it to STP but it is receiving TC_U_ABORT_IND.

You all are right. I got my Engineering degree in 2008, and still wondering for jobs. i have applied for jobs almost everywhere in Pakistan. I have attended and passed every test of WAPDA, including others. but after interview i dint did'nt get any responce. I am still wondering for jobs. As you people know that private sector in KPK is taking it's last breath. All the door of jobs are close for young talented people. Job are for those who have "links or mony".
People like us are waiting for thier own fate.
May Allah send "Ramat and Barkat" on all.

I have been offered 25000( -15% TAX) YAUN at HUAWEI HQ as an internal permanent employee at HUAWEI, designation: Senior Manager. Family tickets, visa and medical not provided...what do you recommend about this sort of package at SHENZHEN, is it OK. Should I go for it?
how much can i save, and is family visa easy to get if i have Z visa...

it all depends upon your life style but i feel it would be just enough, regarding halal food u will have to search for it as there are very limited places there for halal food, there are a few muslim restaurants in downtown Shenzhen but dat is of around 40 min drive from Huawei HQ. huawei HQ do have a muslim restaurant dat wud cost u around 20 RMB per meal per person, however if you eat out it would cost around 50-60 RMB per meal per person.
 
To me Halal food and Language and a non-muslim society may be the main concerns if u can cope up with it go ahead.
