LIVE POSITION: CISCO NETWORK ENGINEER

Location: Germany
Start Date: ASAP
Length: 12 month renewable contract
Role:
We are looking for a Network designer for a position in Germany. Main
activities will be for design and testing within the Design Engineering team
and will have long term experience of the Service Provider MPLS environment
preferably in a Mobile SP with focus on the following.

Must have skills:
L2/L3 VPN within MPLS Core in SP
Traffic Engineering
Cisco ASR9K, CRS and GSR platforms
Cisco IOS and IOS-XR software
Testing and design activities within MPLS network (Cisco Devices)
BGP, ISIS and OSPF routing configuration and troubleshooting
QoS configuration and troubleshooting in IOS and IOS-XR
Good IPv6 understanding
Advanced Layer 2 (VLAN, Spanning tree)
English and German

Desired skills:
Performances and Architecture testing tool exposure
Cisco catalyst 6500/7600 platforms
Cisco 7200 series and ASR 1K
CCIE certification or equivalent
CCISP nice to have
Any other European Language is a nice to have

PCM (Pulse Code Modulation is a process in which an analogue signal is encoded into a digital bit stream. The analogue is first sampled, then quantized and finally encoded into a bit stream. The most common version of PCM enables one voice circuit to be represented by a 64Kbps stream. Other versions of PCM exist such as (Adaptive Differential PCM) which enables lower bit rates to be achieved.)
