*Job Description:*

- Expected to conduct system analysis and development, with limited
support from senior team members, to keep our systems current with
changing technologies.
- Strong programming background especially in data structures,
algorithms and design patterns.
- Review and repair the legacy code and responsible for analysis of
current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of
problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming
problems.
- Development using latest java technologies and frameworks including
J2SE, J2EE, Socket Service/nio, JDBC, Webservices (Axis2 especially), Java
5.0, JavaScript, PL/SQL, XML, AJAX, Webservices (Axis2 especially), Eclipse
IDE, Design Patterns.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, UNIX commands and
scripting, Ant, Aspect-J, JUnit
- Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment
that will affect system performance
- Working with software architect to refine and elaborate software design
- Assists the Programmer Analysts in designing programs and databases.
- Participate in and contribute to design and architecture process.
- Understanding of Object oriented programming concepts
- Basic understanding of databases and DB modeling
- May be assigned as a Team Lead on specified projects
- Act as mentor to software engineers
- Facilitate in establishment of best practices related to software
engineering
- Conducting research on tools, technologies, domains and solutions
relevant to the assigned product(s) and/or project(s)
- Responsible for information security tasks within own work scope
- Learning and understanding of business domain
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing projects/modulesect-J, JUnit

*We are looking for:*

- Minimum Education: BS or MS degree in computer science
- Required Experience: 1-2 years experience in Java application
development

*Skills:*

- Sound knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies
- Good analytical skills
- Flexible timings
- Strong commitment to quality
- Good programming and database concepts
- Team player and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines
- Self-organized with the ability to plan ahead
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Core Java development
- Hands on experience in Java 5.0, ML, Webservices (Axis2 especially),
Eclipse IDE, PL/SQL and Design Patterns.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, UNIX commands and
scripting, Ant, Asp

i have done Masters in Computer Engineering with specialization in Computer
