Good to know ... thanks Barb ...
At least the move will be while I'm at home and can 'see' what is happening
before taking off for 2 weeks in the RV. Hopefully it will be OK and not
have to have someone come out to adjust the dish ... umm that brings up
another thought about the Satellite table ..
Thoughts ?

Pat, the goal of one of these changes is to have an exact clone of the satellite that is being replaced. Devices should not be able to tell that they are no longer on SatMex5, and things like frequencies, footprints, and symbol rates are identical across the transponders.
There have been a handful of these changes over the years as satellites fail, and the major hurdle is getting the replacement where it should be in operating condition. Once that happens the rest is invisible to the user.

Thanks Barb.
I'm a Hughes direct payee ... they've moved me more times on transponders,
etc., without knowledge. No problem, but I also have a static IP address
... right now Hughes is a backup to our other internet system at home, but
main access in the RV. It just means having to make sure what I have
before moving the modem to the RV and then making all the necessary changes
to the Motosat. It's more of a PITA. But until I convince myself that we
can be without it on the road I'll continue to have it.
Thanks again. Hopefully all will be transparent.

You're very welcome ... Don is correct: the change "should" be transparent!
