FAST – National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences is the pioneer of Computer Science education in the country. Since its inception in 1985, the University has grown from a Computer Science College to a University – granting Bachelors, Masters, and PhD. degrees.
The Computer Science department at the Karachi campus is the oldest department of the University. Our graduates are employed by leading international and multi-national organizations working in many diverse fields of computer science and information technology. The department has well established faculty actively pursuing research in following major areas of Computer Science.

The department has few immediate openings
For Candidates holding an MS degree: The department offers lecturer positions. The position requires 6 to 9 hours of teaching per week and pays salary of 45K plus (commensurate with experience). In addition, the department expects faculty members to pursue PhD (CS) and contribute actively toward research. For this purpose, 100% Tuition fee waiver may be granted after six months of service.
For Candidates holding a BS degree in relevant field:
The department offers lab instructor positions. The position requires 9 hours of teaching per week and pays salary of 25 K -30k per month. In addition, the department expects faculty members to pursue MS (CS) and contribute actively toward research. For this purpose, 100% Tuition waiver fee may be granted after six months of service.
For both the positions, medical coverage and other benefits are also available as per the University rules.
