Free workshop on Campus Network Monitoring

Technology Net Alliance organizes a workshop focused on Campus Network Monitoring. The Motto of this workshop: Monitoring as one of basic fundamentals for increasing network stability, reliability and security.
The two hour workshop takes place at TNA Block # 4-B, Ist Floor, ERP Plaza F-7 Markaz, Jinnah Super Market Islamabad on Mrach 03, 2012 at 10.00 am. Participants will (learn to implement best practices in network monitoring and management of campus networks using open source software and SNMP like MRTG, RRDTools, smokeping) discuss common practices in monitoring and share the experiences with using different tools and processes. The workshop consists of live sessions dedicated to: general aspects of campus/LAN monitoring, detection of problematic traffic, monitoring of network devices, monitoring of systems, and experience in real-world network monitoring.
The event is open to IT infrastructure handling and management Team, who is responsible for 24/7 IT services delivery to their end users. Students from universities and all academic institutions who wanted either present or listen new information in this field.
