VMware vSphere 5.0
(March 09 ~ 11, 2012)

Technologies Net Alliance in collaboration with Artel Network Enterprise is organizing a hands-on workshop on deployment, configuration and Management of VMware vSphere 5.0 to Virtualize Enterprise Data Centers. Virtualization is being adopted to slash power and cooling costs, reduce the need for expensive datacenter expansion, increase operational efficiency, and capitalize on the higher availability and increased flexibility that comes with running virtual workloads.  The goal is for IT to be well-positioned to rapidly respond to ever-changing business needs. You will develop and reinforce your skills in hands-on labs, with lab time and lecture evenly split throughout the workshop. The workshop is based on ESXi 5.0 and vCenter Server 5.0, with an overview of vCloud Director

Workshop Outline:
Introductory and advanced sessions on

·         Install and configure ESXi with vCenter Server

·         Configure and manage ESXi networking and storage

·         Deploy and manage virtual machines

·         Manage User Access using VMware Infrastructure

·         Increase scalability using vCenter Server

·         Monitor resource usage using vCenter Server

·         Apply patches using vCenter Update Manager

·         Manage higher availability and data protection using vCenter Server

·         Deployment of Virtual SAN Solutions & Gain overview on VMware vCloud Director

Systems Administrators, Project Managers, Solutions Architects, Developers, Designers, IT Managers, IT Directors and operators responsible for ESXi, ESX, and/or vCenter Server.
