[pakgrid] The Love Competition

Cool one:

In general, we can correlate a feeling to a particular area in human brain. But we have to work hard to ping point to individual neurons.
Rich area for innovation in product, hardware, software engineering.

By the way this is at Stanford. Clinical imaging software shown at @9:15 onward is my old product called Advantage Workstation Server. I led the team as a Global Project Manager.
A fellow Pakistani, Dr. Saad Sirohey, is man behind bunch of these applications. Right now he is heading Neuro-marketing area in GE Healthcare CT business. He also worked on algorithms to distinguish polyps from feaces/body tissues. This is helping male human species to not !experience! colonoscopy ;-)

Sir Naveed Rao & Sir Faisal, TCC2 @ Military College of Signals-NUST-Pakistan, showed me some good stuff. With little love on usability/product side, I think that product can work.
Though we (GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba) will always have an EDGE because we know the hardware. But anyone can make applications as images come on open standard (DICOM).

If anyone is working on medical applications, please let me know..

Thanks
-Shiraz Bashir
