[pakgrid] Workshop on Optimizing Hardware Design and C/Assembly Language Programming for Embedded Systems

Dear All,

AOA!!!

I am pleased to announce that the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science proudly brings to you the 'Workshop on Optimizing Hardware Design and C/Assembly Language Programming for Embedded Systems' after its huge success last year. The workshop will teach attendants the various aspects of hardware design and how different microprocessor architectures are built and what are their strengths and weaknesses. The workshop will also include lecture sessions and hands-on training on programming of various microprocessors using Optimized C coding and assembly language. The workshop will also include a session on learning how to program in C.

The embedded systems market stands at $100 billion today with a 14.2% increase annually. Microprocessors are quickly becoming ubiquitous and we are surrounded by them. Most of these processors have limited memory and processing power. Writing code that utilizes both effectively is quickly becoming very important. Moreover, advanced instruction sets and large microprocessor memory on legacy architectures such as Intel and ARM requires more intelligent programming and effective use of resources. Hence, it is becoming more and more important to write code that uses the microprocessor architecture and memory efficiently. This workshop will teach you ins-outs of various architectures and how to write optimal programs for them.

Intended Audience: EE/CS/CE Professionals and Students

Certificates would be provided to those who successfully complete the workshop.

Team
