I also saw the show mentioned by Ameer and would say that Dr. Attaur Rahman was harsh on the IDEA not the person. He was right in stating Law of conservation of Energy in this case, as unlike ordinary motor vehicles where battery is used just to ignite the fuel coming from a reservoire, here the fuel is first produced in Hydrogen generator from electrolysis of water (requiring energy to break bonds in water) and then this fuel (Hydrogen gas) is burned or ignited in ignition chamber to release same amount of energy by reforming water or steam (same number of bonds formation) that runs the engine. Remember water is not compustible like petrol, it first has to be decomposed into hydrogen which is combustible. So the question from where the extra energy is comming to produce perpetual motion is highly relevent. I think the battery is bearing the brunt of extra energy and must be considered in cost estimations. Moreover, when ignition is swiched off in such water run engines, the residual steam in ignition chamber will condense to form water and what this water and moister will do to the engine parts? So a lots of questions are needed to be answered but suffice is to say that even a five grader understands this much science but, perhaps not many!

| I don't know why our scientists and scholars are very harsh to this gentleman. I was watching a TV show last night and was astonished to hear the comments of Dr. Atta Ur Rehman, very respectful for me. He used the word frauds and non-sense for the gentleman. But on the other hand Dr, Qadeer responded gently and talked logically. I think this gentleman is not a professional engineer but if he has invented something, we have to respect his invention and see into it and evaluate it technically, instead of criticizing him.
