About the job
With reference to the Department Head Software you are responsible for top down SW analysis of advanced measurement requirements to our future flow products. You have close collaboration with our System Architects and Software Architects and you take ownership for design and implementation and testing of embedded Software modules for our flow products.
As part of the Software development Team in Nordborg with 10 colleagues and developers from external consultant companies, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a very talented and intelligent team.
In headlines, you will
* Make top down SW analysis
* Cooperate with System and Software Architects, HW, SW and mechanical engineering specialists and external researchers across our worldwide Siemens organization
* Follow up of your SW design in the development cycle (V-model) up to Software integration test

Professional and personal qualifications
* You have an education in SW engineering including embedded and real-time SW. The ideal candidate has a senior background (several years of experience) in developing software.
* Experience with UML, C++ , Configuration Management tools (preferred ClearCase) and SW-test automation would be very helpful in this position.
* Experience with Functional Safety Design (SIL) would be an asset.
* You are fluent in English, orally as well as in writing and as a person you are self-driven, with excellent cooperation skills and you like to work in a team to reach a target. You are innovative and focus on potentials rather than problems.
