I am contacting you because of your contacts in the industry - I thought you may know someone for a tough search I am currently working on for a Contract RF Analyst / System Performance Engineer.  The RF Analyst will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the US for this 4 month contract.
No relocation or sponsorship is available.
 
The RF Analyst / System Performance Engineer will be responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the network and reduce lost calls and ineffective attempts; creating new cell site translations and neighbor lists in support of regional build program activity; and supporting System Performance and RF Engineers in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems (dropped calls, static, interference).
Qualifications:
Must have a BSEE or similar engineering degree. 
 
Proficient using Telsasoft Tech Alert and Op's Alert.
 3+ years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies: System Performance including: RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Lucent infrastructure System Design including: AMPS, CDMA, CDPD, 3G Voice cells infrastructure including:Lucent, CDMA data Telecom experience including: T1, DACS, OMP Voice switch infrastructure including: Lucent5E and ECP, including: DS1, DS3, Fiber, ISDN Operating systems and applications including: UNIX, Windows, MS Office Wireless data service including: CDPD, CDMA, CSD, STP, RF Fingerprinting Analog, CDMA, Flexent Modular cells (CDMA & PCS), RMT software, and 3G technology Test equipment including: T-Birds, DataPro, pilot scanners, baseline equipment, spectrum analyzers
Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
 Requires valid driver's license and good driving record.
