1.: Query || PS Paging by SGSN

Hi,

I need to know if an MS will be paged in two BSCs having different LAC but same RAC by SGSN if the SGSN wants to forward downlink data for the MS.

If no, then it means there is no point of assigning different RACs to BSCs which have different LAC?
Rather, assuming we want to page the MS in only one BSC @ a time, its better to assign same RAC to complete network, since the SGSN will still page the MS in only one BSC ( since LAC is different for each BSC)?

Secondly, if an MS moves from one LAC to another LAC, but RAC is same for both LACs, will the MS perform RAU ( routing area update)?

Dear Noman !
Intermediate frequencey usually varies from vendor to vendor ,i have worked
on Nera MW radios .These Radios use 350 MHz for Tx & 140 MHz for Rx.Kindly
consult Manual for the specific type of Radio to get the exact frequencies.

Hi Dear,

I do not understand your question exactly. However, somewhat I understand your point about frequencies(TX & RX) used in Microwave communication (Here I am just confined about GSM). Normally frequencies are used in between 15GHz to 40GHz range. Moreover, there is kept a difference between Tx and Rx frequency in order to avoid frequency interference.
Let Suppose, 15440 MHz is Tx frequency then there should be somewhat around 15930 MHz Rx frequency.

Important Instructions

- COMPLIANCE TO SELECTION CRITERIA DOES NOT GUARANTEE SHORT LISTING. IF A

- Minimum age should be 18 Years and Maximum age limit is 35 years.

- All qualifications should only be from well reputed Board / Universities
& Institutions.

- APPOINTMENT WILL BE OFFERED ON CONTRACT / CONSULTANCY /REGULAR BASIS.

- GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES SHOULD APPLY THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL AFTER APPLYING
ONLINE.

- TEST/INTERVIEW WOULD BE CONDUCTED ONLY AT PLACE GIVEN AGAINST EACH POST.
REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST/INTERVIEW CENTER WOULD NOT BE ENTERTAINED. NO
TA/DA WILL BE GRANTED.

- Candidates holding substantial experience in the respective field will be
preferred.

- HIGHER STARTING SALARY IS POSSIBLE (IN RESPECTIVE PAY SCALES) AS
ADMISSIBLE UNDER THE RULES.

- Only short listed candidates as per merit would be called for test &
interviews.

How to Apply for Registration

- Submit Qualifications, Certifications and Experiences Information.

- Send Resume to data bank.

- Click Active Jobs link.
