Graduate assistantships in system identification and control
Research Assistantships are available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston for Ph.D. studies in the areas of dynamic systems identification and control with applications to mechanical, energy and biomedical systems. Applicants are expected to have an M.S. degree on a similar topic and exceptionally strong mathematical background and knowledge of model-based control systems theory and applications.
The Houston metropolitan area offers ample opportunities for interaction with collaborating industry and the Texas Medical Center.
Applications from qualified students are invited for Fall 2013.
