Research Associate in Software Testing

Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield

Fixed Term Appointment for 2 years

Salary: 28,685 GBP per annum

We are looking for a post-doctoral software engineering researcher to
work on developing techniques to address the oracle problem in
automated software test generation. The post-holder will work in a
well-connected international team with world-leading reputations in
the Verification and Testing (VT) research group at The University of
Sheffield.

The Research Associate will be responsible for carrying out research
in producing, measuring and analysing automated test generation
techniques, with a focus on the test oracle problem. Candidates should
hold a PhD in a relevant subject, or will shortly be assessed for a
PhD level qualification. Publication in relevant leading peer reviewed
conferences and/or journals as well as excellent programming skills
are essential.

This position is funded by the EPSRC through the EXOGEN and RECOST
projects.
