Summer intern at IBM Research, Hawthorne, NY
We currently have an internship opportunity available in the Database Research group in the Intelligent Information Management department. In our department, we are working on database server technology to improve the performance of transaction and query processing. We are looking for candidates knowledgeable and interested in studying the exploitation of storage class memory such as solid state disk in database systems. Candidates should have taken graduate level courses and have demonstrated ability to conduct research independently. Candidates with publication track record in the areas of interest are preferred but not required.
