For JNCIA & JNCIS, if you pass an online test, you will get 50pct discount, and then you have to pay <6000Rs.
P.S. I am not updated right now about the exact fee, but you can google it out.Neways best of luck

Re: Query || Future of telecom in pakistan

Dear Hammad Khan,

Not only telecom but there are many fields in Pakistan where getting job is very difficult for fresh graduates without reference. Because there is no clear cut policy of private and public sector organizations to recruit fresh Engineers.

You have said that you are already in 4th semester. What I suggest is that if you love to study telecom and if you think this is your passion then you must carry on. Try your best to study hard and come within top10 in your class. Do internships in RF department, take contact numbers of people working there. Make your career in RF.

Never loose hope and mind you 3G is about to be launched in Pakistan.

Regards
Mohammad Ahmed

I totally agree with Mr. Naveed kharadi he is absolutly right for fresh without reference there is no scope. I am also a fresh Graduate having Telecommunication Engineering Degree from Comsats Islamabad but from last 8 months i am unemployed due to no reference while my university fellows who have good references got job in first 2 months after the degree completion. You can really see the difference. So basically it is totally unfair and injustice to everyone but one can do nothing.

Dear,
As a telecom professional, telecom future is not good in Pakistan now, as no more installation, only maintenance and swapping, if you have reference than you can enter in telecom sector, once you got experience, than much scope in Pakistan and out of Pakistan, but for fresh person without reference, is much difficult to get job in telecom sector. You should take suggestion and advise before taking admission!!
