Post doctoral positions in computer security
LabSTICC UMR CNRS 3192 jointly with TELECOM Bretagne is seeking outstanding candidates for two Post Doctoral positions in the field of computer security.
Research topics of interest include, but are not limited to: (1) reaction to intrusions by refining access and usage policies, (2) governance risk management and compliance, (3) preserving privacy in data outsourcing and cloud scenarios, 4) anonymity based horizontal fragmentation to preserve data security and 5) ebook security. Research and development works of the chosen post doctoral candidates on these topics will be undertaken in the context of European or National research projects.
A successful candidate for the Post Doctoral position should hold a recent Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Logics, Model Engineering, Computer Security or related areas.
The candidate should have experience with research on advanced data security management topics, including prototyping. We are seeking individuals who can bring strong technical skills and enthusiasm to our area of research and who will be able to integrate well into a team. High-level publications are expected as the primary output.
The positions, supervised by Prof. Frédéric Cuppens and Nora Cuppens-Boulahia, are open from March 2012. The initial contract will be for one year with a possible extension up to three years.
These positions are located in Télécom Bretagne, Campus of Rennes, France. Languages used in the team are English or French.
