IRENA Scholarship Programme 2012

In an effort to promote talented academics, and with the generous support of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, up to 20 IRENA scholarships are offered annually at the Abu Dhabi based MASDAR Institute of Science and Technology (MI). The Scholarship extends to eight Master of Science Programmes offered at MASDAR Institute.

or the purpose of encouraging postgraduate research at Victoria, the University offers scholarships to students about to commence a full-time, research-focussed Master's degree. Over thirty scholarships shall be offered, consisting of a $15,000 stipend, plus domestic fees. International students, other than those from Australia will be liable to pay the difference between the full international student fee and the domestic fee.

OFID Scholarship Award 2011/12

OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) is pleased to announce that qualified applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree and who wish to study for a Master's degree are welcome to apply for the OFID Scholarship 2012. The OFID Scholarship will be awarded to support two students or candidates for Master's degree studies. The applicant may be from any developing country, and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master's (graduate) degree in any recognized university/college in the world. The Scholarship is open to those students who wish to pursue studies in a relevant field of Development or Energy Studies.

Xiamen University Scholarship 2012

Xiamen University offers scholarships for doctoral, master's and undergraduate applicants. Scholarship awardees will have their tuition fees covered (a maximum of 3 years for doctoral programmes, 2-3 years for master's programmes, 4-5 years for undergraduate programmes). Meanwhile, the University provides monthly living allowance for outstanding master's or doctoral candidates in accordance with the Chinese Government Scholarships. The awardees' academic performance will be assessed each year and only those achieving the required standard will have their scholarship renewed for the following year.

The BMO Financial Group's philanthropic investments include a variety of educational initiatives. They are committed to providing programs needed to benefit the broader community. The BMO Financial Group Diversity Scholarships at Ryerson University will provide enhanced access to post-secondary education for traditionally underrepresented groups including women, visible minorities, international students, students with disabilities and aboriginal students.

University of Leicester Open Scholarships for International Students

University of Leicester Open Scholarships for International Students

Almost all scholarships, including those offered by the University, offer only partial funding support, usually in the form of a contribution to fees. Most scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, and competition from well-qualified students is fierce. You also need to plan ahead, so that you can meet the deadlines for scholarship applications. Please note that you cannot apply for University scholarships until you have been offered a place.

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to attract the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

IDRC Doctoral Research Awards

IDRC Doctoral Research Awards
