In fact he has some good chances of being accepted depending on his personal statements. He should apply for endeavor postgraduate scholarship award. This is a good scholarship as it not only covers tuition fee, but also stipend + travel fee. Aus is quite far from Pk, and travel costs can be around 1.5 lac PKR. Actually only those persons can apply in this scholarship who have already secured admission in some university there. Its deadline is around June every year. Australian Development scholarship (ADS) is another good opportunity for students in Pk as it covers all expenses including airfare. It is an excellent scholarship, in fact all government scholarships are really good and also competitive. But, this one is relatively easier to secure as only students from underdeveloped countries are eligible to apply in this. Its deadline is around April every year. Kindly explore the following link.
Other than these there is also another option. IPRS also known as International postgraduate research award is the name of scholarship. Kindly go through the following link.
But, this scholarship is tricky. It only covers the tuition fee. You shall have to manage your own living expenditures, and living in Australia costs a lot.
