Re: [pakgrid] 50 Places Linux is Running That You Might Not Expect

I am surprised to see the entry titled "Pakistani schools and universities" in the list.I have been affiliated with and know of a few universities in Karachi and none of them runs Linux. I do not know about schools. Does anyone know of any schools or universities in Pakistan that run Linux?

Best,

Waqar

Dear Zahoor Babur sahib,

Thank you very much for the link, it includes Pakistan as well. Yes, we need to do a big effort to promote Linus and open Source, it is need of the time and our survival as well. Do we have a directory, who is doing what on Open Source, where we can collate all the projects done on Open Source, in 2nd phase we can start projecting it to masses, getting those projects finished as usable products.

Regards
afzal
