I have used 3 or 4 different proxies. It is inconvenient, slows downloads, at times the proxy server does not respond and rest of your Internet access comes to a halt, etc.

A simple proxy setup, and you can use YouTube in Pakistan, I have seen kids doing it in Pakistan.

I am able
to take coursera courses without youtube. I think
Udacity uses youtube. I hope sense will prevail soon
and youtube will be unblocked.

I
totally agree with this. Back when Youtube was open, I took
3 courses from coursera.org. But as soon as
Youtube was blocked, me and countless bright students were
deprived of such a beneficial program.
