• Total 3 year experience (1-2 year experience of s/w development java-pl/sql) and 1 year experience of telecom sector.
• Hands-on experience on GSM Billing/Mediation platforms, with good knowledge of vendors like Ericsson, Huawei and NSN.
• Knowledge about Billing Subsystems, Rating and Charging is mandatory.
• Interaction with leading Mobile Services operators and vendors is involved, which will provide great exposure from learning perspective.
• Candidate should have a strong technical background and an ability to diagnose and solve problems in timeline driven environment.
• Hands-on test/support engineer (MEDIATION Systems) with experience in testing enterprise level server systems & supporting production systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux based OS including Solaris, Linux; HP-UX.
• Strong SQL and production database administration experience - e.g. performance tuning (Oracle 11.x, PostgreSQL 8.x)
• Advanced UNIX shell scripting.
• Web server (Tomcat) know-how
• Virtualization technologies like Virtual Box, KVM a plus.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills; clear & concise communication with co-workers and customers is a must.
• Computer Science or Information Technology degree with certification will be plus
