If we want to estimate a system without the priori information then we use adaptive filters. By such a device we mean one that is self designing in that the adaptive filter relies for its operation on a recursive algorithm, which makes it possible for the filter to perform satisfactory in an environment where complete knowledge of the relevant signal characteristics in not available. The algorithm starts from some predetermined set of initial conditions, representing whatever we know about the environment. Yet, in a stationary environment , we find that after successive iterations of the algorithm it converges to the optimum solution in some statistical sense. Adaptive filters are classified as linear and non-linear adaptive filters. A wide variety of recursive algorithms have been developed in the literature for the operation of linear adaptive filters i.e LMS, NMLS, RLS, APA. The selection from these algorithms for required instance base on Rate of
convergence, misadjustment, tracking, computational requirement, robustness, structure and numerical properties.

This test is all fake, Talented and deserving candidate will never have a chance in it. Its all bribery, corruption and reference based selection system, as far as i may imagine. I myself scored 68 marks for Electrical engineer trainee in this test and ranked 2nd in Gujranwala center. If I include Lahore Center I ranked 4th overall as only three candidates with marks 74, 74, 70 are above in merit in whole region starting from Complete Lahore Division to Jehlam. The authority must at least select 5 high marks obtaining candidates of Electrical engineering from this big region. But they didn't do so, Highlighting bogus test from OGDCL.
