Probably not ... I remember one time when 99 W (I think) was replaced: they
nudged the replacement into position and the only thing anyone noticed was a
stronger signal. :-)
Take care,
Barb

Manuel,
Well, another two weeks have gone by and I still get no response from the
dealer we used to work with.
At this point, we cannot do HughesNet account setups, though this may change
in the future.
I will post again if things change.
We will continue to provide replacement parts for both HughesNet and
StarBand and to set up new mobile StarBand customers.
Take care,
Barb

Manuel,
I have been told by a HughesNet fulfillment dealer that it would be still
possible to get new HughesNet Ku-band accounts set up. Unfortunately, I have
been waiting for over two weeks now, for the details. A family emergency has
taken the dealer out of town.
I'll post the information, when I finally receive it.
Take care,
Barb

Just to confirm, Could I use my current equipment and just get an US
HughesNet Ku-band account? of course I should pick up a service plan and
point my antenna to Satmex6 as you mentioned,
I'm currently connected to Satmex5 and to fix the current issues my provider
has suggested to change me on Satmex8, I'm not sure if this is going to
change anything but I'll prefer to work with my own installation and US
provider, as Skip recommended it to avoid second providers.
Anyway thanks for the information, I'll check it carefully.
