TechArete is currently seeking software engineers with basic knowledge and hands-on experience of working with computer vision techniques and algorithms. The position is Islamabad based and selected candidates will work on various projects related to large scale image and video matching. Special preference will be given to candidates that have track record of participating in speed programming competitions and contribution to open-source projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead computer vision related development activities including rapid prototyping, analysis and algorithm improvement.
- Development and implementation of video processing algorithms for content extraction and matching.
- Software optimization, software conversion (Matlab to C/C++) and real-time computer vision algorithm development.
- Experimentation and testing of novel computer vision algorithms and techniques.
- Integration of developed algorithms in a distributed processing architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent from.
- Knowledge of computer vision techniques used for feature computation, object detection, image matching, and feature indexing.
- Hands on experience of working with OpenCV.
- Experience in computer vision algorithm development.
- Expert level in C++.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong software development and system design skills.
- Strong object oriented design and development experience.
- Experience with MySQL or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
